Managing Admins and Moderation

To promote users or manage member access within your Space, you must first have admin privileges. Admins hold elevated permissions that allow them to:

  • Edit and configure Space settings
  • Create events and surveys
  • View community analytics and export member data
  • Manage users through promotions, kicks, and bans

Promoting a User to Admin

  1. Navigate to the Community Directory within your Space.
  2. Locate the user you’d like to promote and click the three vertical dots next to their name.
  3. Select Promote to Admin.

This action grants them administrative privileges immediately, and it can be undone at any time by following the same steps.

Kicking and Banning Users

From the same menu, admins can also kick or ban users:

  • Kick — Removes the user from your Space.
    • If your Space is private, they’ll need to request access again to rejoin.
    • If your Space is public, they can rejoin at any time.

      Ban — Permanently removes the user from your Space.

    • Banned users cannot access, view, or interact with your Space.

To unban a user, go to your Space Manager and navigate to the Moderation Reports section. From there, you can remove the ban and restore access.
