Creating a Space
Step 1 — Go to the Vinly Hub
To get started, visit https://vinly.co/hub.
Spaces can currently be created only on desktop.
Step 2 — Start Creating a Space
In Column One, click the plus (+) button to begin creating your new space.
You’ll be prompted to either:
- Generate a space automatically using the AI generation field (enter a short description and Vinly will create a draft for you), or
- Enter your space details manually.
All settings and information can be changed later, so don’t worry about finalizing everything at once.
Step 3 — Add Basic Information
If you’re entering information manually, you’ll be asked to provide:
- Name: The name of your space.
Description: A short summary of what your space is about.
Space URL: A unique identifier used in your space’s link.

https://vinly.co/o/{your-space-url} - For example,
https://vinly.co/o/awesomeclub. - Each URL must be unique and is permanently assigned to your space.

Step 4 — Customize Your Branding
Next, you’ll set the visual identity for your space:
- Cover Photo: Displayed at the top of Column Two and on your invite page.
- Favicon or Icon/Logo: Helps members recognize your space across the platform and in invite links.
Step 5 — Configure Space Settings
You’ll see a list of configuration options to personalize how your space works:
Privacy
Control who has access to your space.
- Private Space: Only invited members (by email or phone) can join.
- Disable Default Join Message: Prevents the “I joined the space!” message from being sent when new members join.
Events
- Enable Events Channel: Turn this on to let members create and view events within your space.
Onboarding
Create a welcoming experience for new members.
- Enable Onboarding: Customize the onboarding process with questions and pairing conditions.
Custom TOS & Privacy Policy: Edit these documents to match your space’s community standards.
Pairing Conditions: Define how you want to suggest members to meet based on profile attributes or onboarding responses.
- These questions are vectorized to help Vinly intelligently recommend meaningful connections between members.
Step 6 — Finalize and Launch
Once you’ve completed your setup, confirm your details to create the space. You can always return later to update any settings, visuals, or onboarding questions as your community grows.
Step 7 — Invite Members
After your space is created, you’ll be able to invite members directly via email or phone.
They’ll receive a unique link to join and start engaging right away.
